Kinesio Taping in Islington
Rock Tape is a form of Kinesio Tape used on the body to help reduce swelling and pain as well as encourage the body to normalise dysfunctional movement patterns and posture.
What Is Kinesio Taping?
Kinesio Taping (using RockTape) is an elastic therapeutic tape designed to support joints and muscles while still allowing full mobility. Unlike rigid strapping, it works dynamically with your body, making it ideal for injury recovery, posture support, and sports performance.
Who is it for?
- Sports injuries (sprains, strains, tendinopathy)
- Reducing inflammation and pain
- Improving posture and alignment
- Supporting recovery between training sessions
- Enhancing proprioception (body awareness)
How It Works
The tape gently lifts the skin, creating space in the underlying tissues. This can help reduce pressure on pain receptors, improve circulation and lymphatic flow, and provide sensory feedback that enhances movement and stability.
Why Choose RockTape at The Massage Lab?
- Applied by qualified, experienced therapists
- Can be added to your massage for ongoing support
- Comfortable to wear for several days after your session

This is the second time I was treated by Fruzsi in the last two weeks. Both times I was suffering with severe sciatica and in acute pain, I left without pain and with much better range of movement following a sports massage, which is arguably the best I've had even compared to massages ive had in Thailand. Having been off work and struggling to move, I'm very fortunate to have found the massage lab. Fruzsi is an incredible therapist, she listened carefully to what my issues were and knew how to help me, patient, through and highly experienced. She also gave me some advice on stretches, exercises and yoga, which she believed would help me. I'd recommend @themassagelab and Fruzsi in particular.Posted on Google![]()

I’ve been going to the massage lab for multiple years now. I went for pregnancy massage for two pregnancies and saw Sarah. Sarah is an amazing massage therapist and person, I have really benefited from the massage to help me through pains and challenges during my pregnancies. Sarah is now supporting me through training for a half marathon and helping me with recovery and injury prevention. I feel like she really cares about my health and is on my team. She is really kind and professional and I highly recommend the massage lab and Sarah to everyone!Posted on Google![]()

I can’t recommend The Massage Lab highly enough. The entire team is wonderful and the standard of care from start to finish is unmatched. I have been coming regularly for over 18 months and I now wouldn’t go anywhere else. The treatment rooms are bright, clean and very comfortable and the location is so convenient yet still manages to feel quiet and relaxing. Now the treatments themselves must come with a special mention to Sarah who is quite possibly one of the best humans I know and definitely the best therapist there is! She has the ability to understand what you and your body need in each appointment and to adjust her treatments accordingly providing a holistic and thoughtful treatment. She has supported me with deep tissue treatments for injuries as well as lymphatic drainage treatments to support my hormonal health and I honestly believe she might be a little bit magic. I could go on praising them for days and highly recommend to get yourself booked in!Posted on Google![]()

I’ve had several treatments with Lukasz at Massage Lab, and have also had treatments with Raymond and Fruzsi. They are all excellent therapists, each with a very different approach. Lukasz can work with very strong pressure and uses techniques including trigger point therapy and myofascial release, which I’ve found really effective. You definitely feel like you’ve been thoroughly worked the following day, but in my experience this is followed by noticeable relief within a couple of days. He’s also a qualified physiotherapist, as well as being friendly, approachable and chatty. After one of my sessions with him, even my chiropractor noticed the difference. Raymond is a very lively and friendly therapist with a particularly intuitive approach to trigger point therapy. Fruzsi offers a more holistic and spiritual approach, incorporating a unique, almost meditative experience into her treatments. I’ve had a positive experience with all three and really appreciate the variety of therapeutic approaches available at Massage Lab.Posted on Google![]()

Lukasz is an excellent and extremely knowledgeable sports therapist who also has a backgrounds in physiotherapy. It was the perfect combination for my issue. He performed a thorough deep tissue massage and advised me of what to do if there were further complications within a few days. I strongly recommend Lukasz because he's grounded and has no pretentiousness about him, which is very refreshing to find in London.
