What to expect
My massage style is informed first and foremost by my clients’ needs and preferences. I utilise a blend of techniques from holistic Swedish massage to deep tissue strokes, muscle energy, soft tissue and myofascial release techniques. My focus is on trying to improve the tissue’s ability to adapt to the demands of your chose lifestyle, while making the experience as relaxing as possible.
My interest in manual therapy began with osteopathy, which I am in my second year of studying. I thoroughly believe that a journey to recovery and wellbeing requires teamwork between therapist and client, and that you should be an active participant in your own health – even during a massage!

Continual Professional development
Since qualifying as a Sport Massage Therapist, I have done workshops on manual lymphatic drainage and myofascial release, as I am fascinated by the way different kinds of touch can have hugely varying effects upon the body. I am also interested in the therapeutic element of touch in manual therapy and volunteer as a complementary therapist with a cancer support charity.

Sport Massage, and soon Pregnancy Massage!
I’m as partial to cosying up with a book (usually something about the human body!) as I am to getting out and doing something active: be it swimming, bouldering or yoga. When I get the chance to escape the city and explore somewhere new, it’d always ideally be somewhere outdoorsy with lots of hiking and a beer or two to follow!
