What to expect

The Soft Tissue Therapy that I practice incorporates elements of deep tissue massage, sports massage, remedial bodywork and pregnancy massage. Using a variety of techniques, I like to utilise breathing and the body’s own mechanisms to find what works best with each client and be as effective as possible. My approach is to investigate any injury or issue with assessment and then a thorough treatment of the site and how it relates to the rest of the body. The aim is always to provide support to release tension patterns, find more ease in movement and offer tools and practices to maintain these effects.

Biography

I am in the middle of a lifelong study of human anatomy which is being accelerated by an Integrated Masters Degree in Osteopathy. I know first-hand the importance of treatment when it comes to recovery and optimising our body/mind in life. My work has been driven by my own story and search for ways to feel better and find balance. I have often found Soft Tissue Therapy to be one of the best ways to improve function and performance alongside a deep sense of wellbeing and ease, which is why I love to practice massage and see how it helps and improves life for our clients.

Fun

I want to be in nature as much as possible, these days, often with a guitar and a friend to play a song with. I like to practice yoga every day, which has become as second nature as making myself a cup of tea! I’m enjoying the freedom of summer holidays before another year of university begins.
